After looking at numerous apartments, houses and condominiums we settled on Spring Grove. It is a condominium in central Singapore, a short walk to the famous Orchard Rd. We have 4 bedrooms plus a maid's room, living area and kitchen. Shared facilities include huge swimming pool, two tennis courts, two squash courts, gym, club house, playground and loads of parking. We're on the 6th floor with nice views (well nice for Singapore as we overlook greenery rather than other buildings!).
We've bought a car, a mind boggling complex experience - Hyandai Sante fe SUV in silver has 7 seats, an upgrade on our last people-mover!
The childern are all well and loving swimming. Our first visitors were Helen and Ken, John and Paulette Phillis for 24 hours on course to Europe. We showed them local cuisine with an outing to the Zion food centre/hawker stalls. Ken enjoyed frog's legs and the kids tried everything apart from the really spicy dishes.
